3 OR 4 AP's for Senior year?????

Here’s my current schedule:

AP Gov/Econ
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
English 12
PE (I’m dreading this one. lol)
Spanish 3

Does it look rigorous enough for Cornell? I am applying ED.
My scores are decent; I got scores of 780, 720, and 720 on the SAT 2 and a 2050 the first time on the SAT I, but I’m going to take the latter again.
My GPA kind of sucks because I had a sort of mental breakdown during the 2nd semester of junior year… dragged my GPA to a 4.0 W, 3.73 UW. ouch.
So I’m debating on whether adding another AP (AP English/composition) to the list is a good idea. I’m kind of scared to though because I want time for college apps. If I don’t take AP Eng, I’ll still take the AP test for it.

Also, if I keep my current schedule, my high school total is 5 AP’s, 1 honors. This is because my school only lets us take AP’s starting junior year, and I had already selected 2 AP sciences.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! :]

bump. why no replies? :frowning:

How many APs does your school offer?

What Hockeydude664 said, plus unless you apply RD, it won’t factor into admissions.

If you want to test AP English anyway I’d recommend taking the course, unless it is notorious for lots and lots of work that would interfere with apps/SAT studying. Also, try posting this in a different forum, maybe High School Life?
