3 qs wrong = 710?!

Meh, it’d be like $50 to get 10 points extra. Not worth it at all. I’ll admit I’m ticked off at the last 10 points, it does get to me, but who cares. No one really looks at the writing score much anyway, plus I’m already in the 99th percentile. And if I can do it once I can do it again. 800 on the June test. If not, then that’s fine. I’m way more concerned with math and CR.

the 50$ is to verify the score not re-read the essay. do they have a re-scoring process ?

OOps , sorry , yeah… i was talking about the math section,…
and yeah, i didn’t omit anything…
but anyway, thanks for your replies :)

+can we do anything about it?

I just assumed they’d recheck the essay while rescoring. Don’t quote me on it though, I’m not sure at all.

nope…
i got an 11 on my essay… which i m quite okay with…
so thats not an issue…
thnx anyways !

yes but 800 is better… I am sure the difference between a 790 and a 800 is more striking than the difference between a 780 and a 790. 800 just looks nicer

To me, sure. I’d love it. But I plan on getting it again in June at any rate (I’m seriously practicing my essay - if I may say so, I have great style. Unfortunately, that counts for nothing on the SAT. I can have horrible style but good development and vocab and get a 12 - usually I can’t think of examples for lack of a good English education - we never read all those classics that schools force on you in the States. Kind of my fault for never seeking them out too, though)
Plus, colleges don’t care about it. Like, at all. It’s kind of depressing that my best achievement on the SAT is one that has hardly any importance. Here’s hoping for an 800 on W and M next time. 700 on CR is fine, though I’m hoping for a 760+ (ha!).
