Does USC care that much about the writing section? I ask because I usually get around 680-750 on math and 650-720 on CR, but my writing is really bad (550-600) and so I’m kinda worried about that. btw, if I get around 1330 out of two sections, is that decent for USC or still way to low?

Do they care about SAT 2s?

Do they look at Weighted or Unweighted GPA and Rank?

thanks

1.) i think they now care about sat writing section, but they ask for the best of each section.
2.) yes they care about your SAT 2s. I think you need 2 at least
3.) They see all of them. When you turn in your app, they will see your unweighted GPA. THey will use their own system to weight it. Also they look at your freshman grades, which may balance out your gpa

i was told sat 2's were optional

Sat 2's are optional unless you're homeschooled

well i took them anyways because the UC's require them.

2) They evaluate them if you submit 'em.
3) what madame said. They place more emphasis on junior/sophomore yr grades, not so much emphasis on freshman grades.

Directly from USC website "SAT Subject test results are optional, but they can be very helpful in evaluating scholarship applicants;"
