800 French Reading
760 Writing

don't you HAVE to take writing first, you don't have a choice if you're taking it coz it has to be taken first, atleast thats what they told me

Yes. If one wants to take the writing test, it must be taken first.

"wait... there's no calc in the iic exam... thvudragon... what are u talking about"

There is if limits count as Calculus. It's not a very difficult concept though.

Why did some of you take so many SAT II's? I don't know of any school that asks for more than 3, and if you have great scores on the first three, why take more? Just curious.

"There is if limits count as Calculus. It's not a very difficult concept though."

Actually, basic limits are a pre-calculus concept but still I never thought they would cover it in math 2c

Technically there is, just very little. There are questions asking you to complete a stepwise function with a point discontinuity - which is to be technical, a limit question.

I found it to be okay. I got 750 writing, 700 literature, 770 US history in that order. (Weirdly enough, I think I got sluggish during the second test, but experienced a weird burst of energy for the third.)

Two questions:

1.) Can you use a calculator on the SAT II Chem?

2.) Does anybody know of a site that shows the general curves for Chem and Bio exams?

well... stepwise is technically not a calc topic... even with discontinuities it doesn't imply it involves limits, there were probably algebraic solutions to the problem

przfer, chem... i got a 740 :( but a 5 on the ap exam, u CAN use a calculator, but u actually don't need to touch it, i heard the bio curve was more generous than the physics and chem

800 writing
790 math iic
790 chemistry

I always thought limits were considered Calc. the IIC has very very little basic calc

Cujoe -

We were never allowed to use a calculator on the SATII Chemistry exam... it says so on the website...:-/

oh damn... i must have violated that then... oops

don't do it if you are "normal", as you probably know, many ppl on cc are very gifted, i myself is pretty good, but i still couldn't handle 3 in one day, i bombed my tests (780/630/640)
why doing all 3 in one day, try to do 1 at a time, a friend did it 1 at a time got 2400 i think

800 Biology E
770 Math IIC
740 Writing

I did 3 in a day and wanted to die. lol. 720 writing, 750 IIC, and then I absolutely BOMBED my 3rd.

loveduke22.....were the tests hard or were you just very tired taking three in one day.......btw, was your third score > 600?
