3 Sciences-should I do it?

I
m going to be a full IB diploma candiate next year, and I will take Chem HL and Bio HL. I
m debating over whether I should do an extra subject, Physics(SL) because I am thinking about going into science.
The thing is, I HATE physics. But do you think it is necessary? IF I don
t do it, then I will only have a year of physics.I know I
m going to have to face physics sometime when I go to college… But my GC thinks I shouldnt do it, because that will be overloading myself.
Any opinions? And if a student is doing the full diploma, will colleges look favoralbly if he or she does extra subjects?I know I shouldn
t take a class just so it would
look good`, but any opinions would help me out alot. Thanks

Find out how many labs the physics teacher gives and the workload. I took two years of all three sciences but I only survived it because my physics teacher wasn't big on homework.

IB Chem and Bio complement each other much more. Physics is a significant leap in abstraction and mathematics.SL sounds like a good idea.

Does that mean you would be taking 7 classes? In that case I'd say no, it's not worth it. Taking a seventh subject doesn't add anything to your diploma, and I don't even think it's calculated into your average. If you really loved physics it might be a different situation, but I honestly don't think it's worth the trouble. Besides, doing the full diploma is impressive enough.

(Diploma candidate with Chem HL here too--w00t!)
