3 Subject Tests

If a college I am applying to wants 3 subject tests which should I take?

I am great at chemistry and math. . .

So I was thinking

I. Chemistry
II. Math I
III. Math II

but am I allowed to do that? I know I can technically sign up for both maths, but should I take a different one instead?

From what I've heard, most schools won't take Math I and Math II as two separate tests.

That depends on your expected major and the school. Best to contact your admissions rep for more information. My daughter took Bio, Math I and Math II for Hopkins, where 3 subject tests are recommended but not required. She did get in Early Decision, but I would not assume that these tests were the deciding factor.

There's no reason to take 2 maths; just take math II. Take another science or a history or literature.

Take math 2 and something else. The point of SAT subject tests is to prove some breadth of knowledge. Consider a language/history test if you can manage.

If your great at chemistry or math. Take physics and if you have more time take a humanities or language subject test.

i'm taking chem, lit, and math 2. I definitely want to pursue something in the sciences, which is why is why im taking chem and math 2. the lit is there to show that im well rounded. i wouldn't suggest taking math 1 and 2, i'd just take math 2 because most (elite) colleges don't pay math 1 any respect.
