3 subjects 780, 750 620?!?

Hey,

So I currently have a 780 on Math IIc, a 690 on U.S. History, and a 620 on Lit. I've decided to retake History b/c I am confident that I could get a 750+. Yet, I actually studied a lot for Lit and I still got a 620, so I don't see much potential of a score increase. Now, I could just choose to "hide" the 620 with score choice, but what about the colleges that don't accept score choice? Would a 620 be a huge detriment? Or is there some way I could cover up the 620? Thanks.

Don’t have an answer, but I’ll be curious to see what responses you get. My D has EXACT same scores but in different tests
620 math
750 ushist
780 eng

But some of the schools to which she’s applying need 3. So she’s going to retake math, cross fingers for better, use score choice wherever possible, and resign herself to hoping that they’ll cut slack since she’s not majoring in math. For HYPSM…I’m sure they want a MUCH better math score regardless (well…and the other scores too…let’s face it their still borderline for those schools). But…for the next tier (most of whom don’t want 3 scores anyway) - they should be OK. But she’s also considering Oxford who requests (3) 700s or (3) AP-5s. She got 4s on her 9th/10th grade A/Ps…and only one 5 as a Junior, so…still quite borderline even if combining. I feel your pain. Hope you get into whatever college to which you aspire.

If schools require 2 SATIIs they will look at your top two scores. It’s impossible to say how they’ll view your 620. Assuming you have your top two scores above 750 though, I doubt your SATIIs will be the reason you are rejected from any college.
