1) Where is the closest place where I can purchase a bike or scooter?
2) Where exactly is Diddy Reise in the Westwood Village?
3) Where is the closest mall to UCLA, where you can buy clothes?

2- Broxton between LeConte and Weyburn. Next to mr. noodle and across from BJs.

3- Probably Westside Pavillion, on Pico and Westwood. Beverly Center is a few miles East on LaCienega/Beverly. But yeah. Probably Westside Pavillion is your best bet, especially if you're going by bus.

3- OR Westfield Century City on Santa Monica and Beverly Glenn-ish. Actually closer than Westside Pavillion and generally has higher end stores. Don't know what you're looking for, but yeah.

All 3 malls are within a 4 mile distance.

or you can go to rodeo drive... it will all depend on how much $$$ your looking to spend.

not the closest but 3rd street promenade in santa monica is nice too. (off the top of my head they have AE, Gap, Old Navy, A&F, Adidas, Puma, Quiksilver, Lucky Brand...and an Apple store :D )

3rd street promenade also has banana republic, armani exchange, bebe (if that helps lol)

I just went there for the first time last week, it was pretty fun at night when people perform =P

speaking of performers, theres this one scary black guy on 3rd street that was doing a bunch of dancing and stuff. lots of people watching. he wouldnt let people leave....i mean if he saw someone leave he would run after them, grab their arm, and pull them back. its one thing to say "imma chase after you if you run" but to actually do it is crossing the line. he also made everyone pay a dollar. i mean most people would probably have paid him something anyways, but he made you feel like he was gonna knife you or something if you didnt pay. i managed to escape, but i would have called the cops if he tried to grab me.

I'm looking for the stores that VTECaddict mentioned (AE, A&F, Aero, Hollister, FootLocker, Gap, Old Navy, etc.).

So what bus should I take to get to either 3rd Street Promenade or Westside Pavillion?

the 1, 2, 3 all go to 3rd street. i think the 2 is fastest though...double check on www.bigbluebus.com

the 8 and 12 go down westwood to the pavilion.

i didnt see Aero or Hollister there. but yeah take Big Blue Bus line 2. it'll get you there in about 30 mins with moderate traffic. its 25 cents per trip with bruin card. no change so bring coins (unless you want to pay $1 each way).

Um, not that anyone cares but this past Sunday I saw Vincent from Project Runway in the Barnes and Noble on 3rd. I had like a full conversation with him. (And I saw Jeffrey from PR in Pasadena on Saturday pushing a stroller...It was a fun weekend.)

lolololol.

is he as psychotic in real life?

because uh. dude's kinda crazy.

Ummmm. He was nice. He talked to me at least, which I think is a good sign. He really likes when people like his work. But yeah, he is basically exactly how he is on the show. Take that as you will. ;)

yep.

crazy.

How about a mall with no minorities?

He'd have to go to Orange County for that.

no minorities? try like...utah or something. this is california. minorities are EVERYWHERE.

have you ever BEEN to orange county?

/i kid.

I went to Westside Pavillion today and it totally sucked. The only clothing places that I walked in were Express and AE. Then I went upstairs to EB Games, and that was it! Everything else didn't appeal to me, the average teenage guy.

Then I went to 3rd Street, and everything was too expensive. There were more chioces, but still not as good as what Westfield malls offer.

But yeah, just my opinion. And the bus ride was long, since it stopped at every stop for people. :(

Welcome to West LA, where everything takes too long to go to and everything takes a long time to get to, no matter what the distance. I rarely shop around here, it's just more of a hassle and more expensive than doing it when I'm home.
