I have 3 wrong 1 omit in Oct. SATI Math, only got 720....is that normal?

yes.. i got 2 wrong 0 omit (1 wrong on grid in) and got 760

I had 4 wrong and I only got 700 (Reasoning test). :(

Who told you thats even a 720?...thats pretty generous. On the June test I got 3 wrong(1 was grid in) with a raw score of 51 and got a 720. Accoring to you your raw score is a 50 and that may be a 680 depending if the curve is the same as it was in October. It is imperative that us people trying tog et a great math score not gey more then 2 wrong if that. I am not trying to deter you. I am just telling you the reality.

Good Luck

don't expect 800 unless you got all of them right on SAT I Math.
720 is a reasonable score for 3 wrong and 1 omit.

sounds normal....the difference between 720 and 800 is really minor no matter what any ivy adcom might say. Once you are above 700-710 imo you are pretty much at a level with everyone else up to 800

relax and take the IIC!

i got 2 wrong omited 0 and got a 740

On the Oct. SAT I math, I got 1 wrong, 1 omit for a 760...seems a little harsh if you ask me.

WOW shermie... that's a HARSH curve...was the test really that easy... or did CB just screw you over?

I omitted 0 and got 3 wrong... which was a 740

did anyone get only 1 wrong and omit 0... if so, what was your score????

1 wrong and 0 omit is a 790 most of the time. I got 3 wrong 0 omit both times i took it and got a 740 both times.

Keep in mind the large difference between 2 and 3 wrong. 3 wrong rounds to 4 raw points off, 2 wrong rounds to only 2 raw points off.

I've got 2 wrong on old SAT and go a 740.

A 720 for 3 wrong 1 omit is very generous. I had the same raw score as you, -4 (they round to the nearest integer) and got a 710, which is normal. I've heard stories of -4 being 700 or lower. After my first testing I decided not to test the curve again so I answered all the questions correctly. It's the only true solution.

In March I got 1 wrong 0 omit and received 790. I missed 3 in January and got 720, so yes, that all is very normal. Indeed, for -5 (with the 3/4 extra being missed), that curve was fairly generous.

yup ice dragon thats -5 raw points not 4

in june i got 3 wrong 0 omit and got 760...and i thoughtthat was harsh!

I wonder how colleges look at it then...I got 2 wrong and got a 760 on the Oct. scores. I mean, the difference between an 800 and 760 is 2 questions, so they can't make that big of a distinction can they?

Wow the curve musta been generous to me.....I got 5 wrong and got a 700

:( thx for making my score feel even worse guys :( (I was hoping for a 750+ THOSE DAMN TRUCK PROBLEMS)

i think the colleges know that although the scores may look like they are really gapped, you know that getting one more lowers liek 200 points, so i wouldn't really worry about it.

0 wrong. 1 omit on student produced answer. 800.
