Your Superscore ACT would be higher with the 36 In reading. I think your goals are completely realistic. As required_details said, you are well with in reach.

I think you have a chance to get into all of your schools.

I think you have a great chance at all of them except William and Mary, although I do think you’ll have a chance! Hope you get into GW…I applied there as an ED (not nearly as good as stats as you) and I’m just praying…my heart is totally set on it GOOD LUCK!!! :)

you have a good chance, especially if you have a hook at any of the schools you mention, hook is important. I don’t know if that is true at Smith, Middlebury etc but hook is what seems to get many people in. your act 29 and 30 ACT is fine - probably better than like the 95% of people taking the test. For sure - submit both tests! I know someone who just got into Dartmouth with a 29 act and no hook, but she was like # 5 out of several hundred with good ecs, so you never know. (She did not take the SAT I, but had right around 700 on her SAT IIs. Top schools, even HYPS, do accept applicants with high 20s on the ACT if there are other parts of the application that are outstanding. UPENN Wharton last year accepted the second ranked kid in the senior class at another high school near me last year with an ACT 29. So you never can tell what a school will do. You will get accepted to many of the schools you applied. If I were you, I would put Smith at the top of the list, if accepted. All this, just my opinion. good luck
Your stats are good. But there is no lock at the ivies or other top schools, even with a 2400 / 36 4.0. Top schools have plenty of top applicants. Having some kind of hook, strong legacy, superstar athletics, is real important at HYPS etc. Better to be a 3.0 with an SAT 2000 with super strong/generous legacy instead of a 4.0 / 2400/36. Yeah, you need some decent grades/scores to get into top schools. But at those programs, the hook is very important. They reject many 2400 / 4.0 applicants every year and accept many with much lower scores/grades. Just my opinion. Good luck.
