30 ACT-What are my chances?

You will get into all of your non reach schools pretty easily I think. The reach schools you will have a tough time with, but they are reaches for everybody.

If you’re from VA, than WM becomes more of a high match.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I always thought of Middlebury as a reach (17% acceptance rate). I chanced back everyone

I think you’re in really good shape for all of your schools I would consider GW more of a match than a reach for you, I know some1 with slightly lower stats applied ED and got in

Completely agree w/cdr777! I think that your ACT superscore will look very nice, as well. Math Subject…mmeh, but hey it looks like you’ve REALLY made the best of what your highschool has to offer, and I think colleges will definitely respect that.

You’re in at all your safeties and match schools, and you have decent chances at your reaches (GW is low reach). Coming from Washington D.C. certainly won’t help, and your SAT’s are pretty low for Middlebury, Wellesley, and CoW&M, but your ACT’s are on par and your EC’s and class rank are good. If you did a good job expressing your passion for art and history in your essays, you should get into at least one of your reach schools.

Thanks! Really, being from DC is going to hurt me? at all schools? I am pretty sure GW doesn’t accept too many people from Washington. Thanks again

i think you will be surprised; i think most you will gain acceptance at

Sounds like all those are matches!!!
good luck

Don’t know much about the schools you’ve posted, but your test scores and ranking are impressive. I think your in

you certainly have great chances… you have an incredible class rank as well as GPA. you should be very proud of all of your work. although i dont knwo too much about the schools that you’re applying to. with scores like those and EC’s you should be able to get into some very good schools.

sorry, i tried to help but im not very knowledgable with everything when it comes to the college process…

p.s. nice work with the AP’s

Also, maybe you can apply to some more selective schools. just as a reach. you never know if you get in or not… why not try… who knows! you have solid credentials, might as well try to apply E.D. to some more selective school to give it a whirl…

best of luck

Thanks for chancing me. I think you will get into all of the schools that you listed. Wellesley is the only one that could go either way, but your gpa and class rank is really good. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in. Good luck with all of your college endeavors. And yeah, Boston Mass is a for sure in.

great chances at all. i would say the only ones that you have a chance of being rejected from are Midd and Wellesley, but, once again, they are certainly not out of reach,
good luck!

i honestly think you have a great shot at all of those colleges. and I dont think George Washington would be a reach for you! I wouldnt be surprised if you got into all of them! GOOD LUCK!

I honestly think you’ll get into all of them…I’d be surprised if you didn’t.
GOOD LUCK !

Your ECs and SAT scores could be much stronger. But since you attend a tough high school, adcoms might give you the benefit of the doubt when they’re trying to reconcile your GPA with your SAT I scores. Anyhow, you have great chances of getting into every school on your list. Wesleyan and Middlebury can be a little unpredictable, but you have a chance as almost anyone.

Thanks for chance-ing me, and best of luck!

I think you have a great chance at all of those in your “safety” and “match” categories and have a good chance at all of your “reaches”

I’m not too familiar with ACT scores as far as what’s good, your SAT could be better but if the 30 on the ACT is good then it probably doesn’t matter

GOOD LUCK!

I know that Middlebury is big into community service and things so founding a non-profit is a huge plus.

Hi, fellow Washingtonian! You have a great chance at GW (high-match) and your other schools are spot on. Don’t go to Mary Washington :/

University of Mary Washington – you’re in
UMass Amherst – in/ Honors

Smith – don’t now the all-girl schools well enough
Bryn Mawr – " "

UMD- College Park – you’re in. If oyu had applied early you’d be in Honors/ Gemstone
College of the Holy Cross (legacy) – ?

Middlebury – match
George Washington – definitely in
Wellesley - ?
College of William and Mary - match.

Good luck!

Yea, I think you are being completely realistic in your choices: nice spread of safeties, matches and reaches. I think Middlebury would be the hardest to get into but I’d say you have a great shot there. Whats your top choice?

chance me back?
