30 credit hours with AP credit?

Hi,

I applied and sent in everything for transfer of Fall 2012, and despite being told that AP credit counts so long as it's listed as CR for a comparable course at my CC, I am now starting to worry it won't.

I have 29 credits + 6 AP credits (all of which are listed as course name, number, and CR) for ex:

AP Credit:
ECON 2301 Principles of Macroeconomics CR 3.000 0.00

^if it appears like that on my transcript, will it count towards the 30 credit hour requirement to be considered for admission?

Thanks

Hello,

They do count for the thirty hour minimum if UT has an equivalency. The same situation happened to me. Read my short thread for more details: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-texas-austin/1302472-i-would-like-second-opinion.html

Good luck and hang in there!
