31 Credits enough?

I will be apply to Franklin and Marshall College for the fall of 09. My H.S. GPA was a low 2.2.

I am now taking 16 credits my first college semester with an expected GPA of at least a 3.6+ By the end of the school year I will have 31 credits with an estimated GPA of 3.75+

I have good EC's of teaching the Hebrew language for over 70 hours, amateur filming and acting, and organizing events for my local temple and also working with young kids. Additionally I have to work to help pay for my college tuition.

Does anyone here think Franklin and Marshall will give me a shot after accumilating 31 credits and turning around my GPA?

unless you have a unique essay, i would say that your hs gpa will be a big hindrance. u might want to try junior transfer instead. get a higher gpa and stronger ecs. good luck!

I understand my H.S. GPA is a hindrance, but with admissions seeing a huge jump in grades and me paying for part of my college tuition I would think I have a shot at being accepted?
