34 ACT Comp Score, 7 Essay- Retake? Also College Help

<p>I recently took the ACT test for the first (real) time and scored a 34. I'm really satisfied with that, but I messed up pretty bad on the essay portion and ended up with a 7. I know I can score higher than that, but at the same time I'm not sure if I can get a 34 composite again. So, I just wanted to ask if I should just let it slide and not retake it again? Is a 7 on the essay going to affect my chances at a college admission by a significant amount? </p>

<p>If your still a sophmore or junior go ahead if u have the money. Seems like a pretty good score for the first time so it should be fine if you stick with it, I don’t think it is that important to colleges if you got a 34 or 35.</p>
