does the science score make a difference even though the composite is 34?
does it make such a difference that i should retake it?

Are you planning to study any field in science, engineering, etc.?

yeah but the science part on the act isnt exactly science

I don't think your 34 will be cheapened by your science subscore, because anyone who matters knows the science score isn't really science, and had it been higher you'd have a 35 composite.

I think most schools value the science section the least of the 4 sections, and on top of that a 34 is a very good score. Personally I would not retake but that's just me. If you think you can do better and are willing to spend another 3 hours of your Saturday then by all means take it, if not just pat yourself on the back for doing the same or better than 99% of all the kids who took the ACT.

Well I have to say, I think you should retake it if you're planning on majoring in science. I know the science isn't exactly science, but it would look better to have a higher score there. It depends where you're applying, I suppose. What are your SAT II scores like?

770 math2
770 physics
