Is it worth retaking the ACT to try an get a 35? Is there a major difference between the two? The last 4 tests have all been 34s barely though.
You took the ACT 4 (or more) times, and got 34 on each of the last four?
If you’re a senior, you’ll probably find it a better use of your time to do something else than study for and retake the SAT, IMO.
how much of a difference will it make though?
Not worth it at all. Don’t waste your time trying to raise your score by such a small margin when you already have an amazing score.
bump
how much will a 35 benefit me?
FYI, when members see that the correct answer has been posted, they do not always take the time to post it again. They will usually correct a false or incomplete answer.
Anyway, 34 is a fine score, and many many students go to elite schools with a 34 (or an equivalent SAT score.) Getting it up to a 35 is not likely to do anything for you. It’s really up to the rest of your application.
(My kid’s at Harvard now. 34 ACT, 2250 SAT. No hooks.)
Dang… I would kill for a 34… But then I haven’t taken the ACT yet lol. (taking the Sept ACT)
You have started 2 threads with the same question and gotten the same answer in both.
Almost everyone is saying don’t waste your time going for C35 because C34 is practically the same score. And almost everyone is saying that colleges won’t like you better because you got a C35 instead of C34.
So stop asking the same question.
But it sounds like you really want people to say to take the test again and go for C35.
Therefore, take the test again, maybe 3-4 more times. And don’t just go for C35. Go for C36.
