36 ACT 3.0 GPA - Please Chance Me!

<p>Ok. The ACT is the good part now comes the ugly</p>

<p>GPA - 3.0 UW - 3.5 if you take out my sophomore D and F in World History and English
retook the F got an A. Broken family circumstances. Will have 4.0 u/w Senior year - too late?? Serverall AP's all math and science have been APs.</p>

<p>School - Southern State Private College Prepatory </p>

<p>EC's Exceptional: </p>

<p>4 year letter varsity soccer - Senior Team Captain
Club Soccer - 8 year State Finalist
3 year letter varsity tennis
Concert Choir - Sophmore all region, Junior and Senior all state
Drama - Lead role in two shakesperian plays
Spanish - All state spanish exam
Duke University TIP - Freshman - Aeronautical Engineering
Duke University TIP - Sophmore - Robotics</p>

<p>Community Service - Way too much to list</p>

<p>Work 4 years - Soccer Referee - Youngs Guns Club
Work 4 years - Junior Dance Instructor</p>

<p>National Merit Semifinalist
National Hispanic Scholar Honerable Mention (yep GPA KIlled me there)</p>

<p>maybe if u get good rec letters and tell the colleges of your circumstances, then you mgiht be able to gain SOME ground. I really feel pity fro you. Your chances as an URM would have given u like match for top schools had u not failed on your GPA.</p>
