36 is too real for this underachiever???

Hello fellow CCers this is my journey to a 36 on the ACT. I took it a while ago and got a 27 (i was extremely surprised because on test day I totally panicked on reading, writing and science). Chances are I won't get a 36 but Im sure as heck gonna try so this is a list of my preparation to get ready. Exactly 56 days until TEST DAY.

Day 1:
Read 40 pages of PRs guide (please shoot me)

The PR book is really good… it won’t be too hard for you to get through it. I’m trying for a 30+ when I take it in september. Just like you I got a 27 and the second time a 28. Hopefully we can both achieve our goals! :)

Take some real ACT tests. Just by reading the PR book might get you to the 30+ range, but not likely to a 36.

Thanks for the responses!

I have taken practice tests but the only problem is that the tests i take arent very good (for example, they arent close enough to the real thing or they have typos)

I swere I am like einstein in that I just CAN’T do other subjects besides math and science. If I worked at math and science and actually did my hw I would have A+'s instead of As whereas english and history I simply suck at and get Bs consistently. On the ACT I got high 30s on math and science with low 20s on reading and writing.

anybody else care to support myself?

i support you. i want a 36 too.

Realistically your chances are very low of getting one
I made a 32 on the last one and i’d be surprised with a 2 point jump. What you want is a 9 point jump or 33-36 subscore points. All i can say is good luck

be nice… it’s not impossible… good luck on your quest for a 36 :)

Good luck man, I actually liked reading the PR book even though I hate reading in general lol; the PR book is brilliant.

wat is the name of the book kidof09
