Hello all,

I have a question that I am hoping to get some advice on. I took the ACT in March and in April (32 and then 33). I did not study at all for the first time I took it and for the second time, I studied English for about a week and went up about 3-ish points in English (rest stayed the same).

I really want to aim for a 35 or 36 for the September test- more to just prove to myself that I CAN study and I can do better. So far, I have been really busy this summer and this research camp just ended, so I have about a month to study (test is on Sept. 10th). I got a 36 on math both times, and I just really need to improve my Reading and Science scores. So if someone can provide some advice as to how to study effectively, and which books to use, I would really really, REALLY appreciate it! Also, school starts in three days, so I won't have much time, just fyi. I just really want to know how you study, I am really bad at studying and staying focused.

Thanks again, I am really grateful for any advice!
