<p>But to add one more comment about high scorers, a guy at my school last year got a 2370 on the SAT, was ranked 2/318 in the class, and had tons of academic distinctions, but was a regular, friendly, social guy who played basketball and had many friends.</p>

<p>Especially true with the ACT, if you start with above a 30 then by the 3rd try you better have at least a 35! On the otherhand, one of my close friends got a 36 first try with some preparation and she was so humble that she didnt tell anyone about it until we found out from a local newspaper.</p>
