36" snow + 2 days of warm weather + slippery roof =

= thousands of dollars worth of damage to my car as snow fell from the 4th floor of my apartment complex onto the rear of my car causing severe body damage to the trunk, a completely shattered rear window (with glass chunks flying as far as the dash board), a cracked side rear window, glass damaged fabric on the interior, and electrical water damage to anything that's operated in the rear of the car.

My car insurance won't cover it, neither will my landlord's insurance ... but my landloards agreed to cover the costs upon figuring out that my trusty architecture girlfriend knows quite a bit about building codes and which ones they are violating with their parking lot. Before that, my parents were fronting the entire bill without much enthusiasm.

If I get the right cord, I can share pictures sometime.

Food for thought...

How convenient :) Sucks for the car though.

one day we need to meet this girlfriend of yours that we always hear so much about...she sounds cool

Ya, that's kickass. That's like when a bully picks on u and ur sister sticks up for you... lol jp jp, that's cool of her.
