<p>I was wondering how wise it is to write the 3rd personal statement essay? The only strange trend in my grades is my Freshman grades, which suck due to deaths in the family. I don’t talk about them in my other personal statement essays- is it worth writing a third one, since the UCs don’t even take Freshman grades into account?</p>

<p>I think you answered the question yourself, no? They dont look at your freshman grades as the courses just count for subject requirement fulfillment, it doesn’t affect your GPA, and as long as you show a strong upward trend, you should be perfectly fine. :D</p>
