i want to find out how uc's feel about taking the sat 3 times, the first time i got a 1820, the second time i got a 2100, i wanted to know if i should take it again in oct when im a senior or not, im scared i will get lower so im not so sure,
can someone give me some insight into what i should do, like if uc's will care if i take it 3 times

oh yea, i got math-750, writing-700, critical reading 650

3 is like the max. For UCs, 2100 will get into all of them as long as your other stats are good. Only take it if you're very confident you can do much better.

will getting a lower score hurt me? i have practiccally no ec so i wanna try to make that up

within 50 points is ok. Depends on which colleges you want to go. For UCs, I might stay put. For ivys, you should retake.

ok i just wanted to get some more opinions, the deadline for registering is in a few hours and im still unsure whether i should take or not, im fairly confident i can get 2200, but i just wanted to know how much it would help/hurt to take a third time

Don't do more than 3...if you really want to do better and not keep taking SAT tests, try the ACT and see how you do.

its just that i want to go to either ucla or ucb, so im not quite sure

take it again.. lik every1 said.. takin it a 4rd time doesnt hurt

3 times is absolutely fine. It's an accepted number. (More than 3 is a little controversial)

NO ITS NOT!

you can take the SAT 100 times if you have to. DOESNT MATTER

Your score sounds fantastic, I wouldn't worry if I were you. Concentrate on your essays and improving other aspects of your application now.
