3rd Teacher Rec?

<p>I've gotten mixed feedback on whether it is a good idea to include a third rec in my college apps, and I'd appreciate a quick yay/nay feedback. </p>

<p>Here's my situation:
I have 2 recs secured, one of which is a foreign language teacher from grades 9-11 as well as the sponsor of my main EC activity (Latin Club/JCL). However, he moved and now I have a new teacher and sponsor. As the president, I work with him a LOT esp. since he's new to JCL. The entire topic/transition/challenge is the subject of my CommonApp essay. I asked him for a rec to complement that story as well as talk in-depth about my leadership, commitment, etc. </p>

<p>Will including him as a third rec (which I have already) dilute my other recs? Is it a good idea? </p>

<p>Honestly, if the 3rd rec is strong, it can’t do anything other than help. I also submitted 3 recs.</p>

<p>A third recommendation is fine as long as it add something different as yours sounds like it does.</p>
