3rd UC prompt questions

So, what should I put in there?
Can I put that I am a first generation college student (Is that how they call it)
-or was that already asked somewhere in the application.
-and does that help me get admitted or for just scholarship.
-actually I am not a first gen., I am a first gen in attending a college in united states. (my relatives and parents graduated from another country like a 3rd world)
-If it does not help then I will not just put it.
Can I also put that I am 15 when I will be applying but will be 16 in fall 2014?
-would that help in the admission and is it relevant.
What do you think should I put?
Thanks in advance. =)

Are you talking about the “Additional comments” field?.. Unless your application is somehow different from mine, there are only two essays there. There’s no “3rd prompt”.

It might be because it is after the 1st and 2nd prompt. It was about 550 char. max
So, can I put those

I don’t think you should put anything there… Don’t make the job harder for the admission officers. They’re not gonna thank you for that. Basically, ask yourself - after reviewing your entire app, including your grades, scores, and essays, will the admission officers have any questions about some parts of it? Did you have a low GPA one semester because of health issues? Did you switch high schools ten times? But unless you can come up with important questions like that, don’t put anything there. Don’t write that you’re the first in your family to go to a US college. If you didn’t even mention that in your personal statement, then it’s not that important to your application. You can say that you’re 15, because that’s pretty unusual for a senior, but I don’t see how that would increase your chances. Basically, it’s perfectly fine to leave that area blank - it’s NOT a third essay, just additional comments.

I think I need to clarify the grading system in my other school (out of US) because it is different and then they change the system in my 10th grade. --like it was numbers, and for 10th grade, they change it to letters but NOT A B C D F
And also they asked about 7th/8th courses that i’ve taken that is advance or something and I didn’t put any because I skipped those.
So, I’m planning to put those

There are two fields for additional comments, one after you input all your courses and grades, and another one after your personal statement. I’m pretty sure that you explain both of them in the first one.

There’s a scholarship entry option for the first-generation bit on the UC app. It also asks for the furthest your parents went with their educations.

I don’t know about the age part.
