4.0 at a Top20 --> Harvard/Yale?

Hey everyone,

I'm just trying to get realize my chances. My high school grades weren't phenomenal (I went to a tough magnet school and wound up with probably around a 3.7 Unweighted), and got a 34 on my ACT. I've been doing really well at my current school, however, with a 4.0 and a few board positions in various EC's. Do I have a shot at transferring as a junior (applying as a sophomore) for Harvard or Yale? I'm not entirely sure if I would want to yet, but I just want to get all the cards on th table. On one hand, people talk about how getting into Harvard/Yale transfer is damn near impossible, but on the other hand, most accepted transfer students seem to have lower GPA's than 4.0's, and sometimes from lower-ranked schools.

Thanks!

As a junior? Highly doubtful. Yale only takes demi-gods and Harvard only takes gods as transfers.
If you had better HS stats and the same stats as a freshman in college, it’d be a lot better.

Grades are important, but a reason(s) to attend Y or H is more valuable. Most of these applicants have unique attributes they can only bring to Y or H.
