I mean apart from the Deans List, and Latin honours.

Are they really supposed to be the top 10% of the class?

For CALS, all that was necessary was a 3.5. I think that's absurdly low for a number aimed at the top 10%.

Anyway, as far as I know it's just based on GPA. If you meet the requirement they send you a little flimsy card after the semester ends. For Fall sememster it will come to your school mailbox, and for spring semester it comes to your home residence.

I've stopped receiving the flimsy cards.

If you get a 4.0, you'll probably be shot to death.

dean's list is based on each semester's individual GPA right? like semester by semester and not cumulative GPA's relative standing to the rest of your class?so despite my low first year GPA, I can still make dean's list next sem?

Correct. (10 char)

The guy who won the last season of The Apprentice got straight A's at Cornell. Then again, he probably majored in something business-related.

did he go to cornell undergrad or just johnson?

He didn't win...and ya he had a 4.0

I heard he was a Policy Analysis and Management major
