<p>My brother is wondering whether or not there is any chances of transfering with a 4.0 from Carnegie Mellon (Electrical Engineering) to MIT or Stanford?</p>
<p>He is now a freshmen in college, other stats from high school if that counts:</p>
<p>2030 SAT (790 M 570 CR 670 W)
Tons of EC + Leadership + Varsity Sport</p>
<p>MIT more likely than Stanford. He's obviously a stand out student in math and science, which is what MIT is all about.</p>
<p>And one more thing that I forgot to mention is that he is an International Student, so will that lower his chance? (That's the reason his Cr and W score are not so high because English is his 2nd language)</p>
<p>any more suggestion?</p>
<p>did he take the TOEFL? If not it might help.</p>
