4/14 ACT Thread

so what would 4-5 math problems wrong probably be? still in the 30s hopefully?

Do people really think that one was real hard? Compared to the practice tests, I thought it was harder, but the ACT in February was ridiculously hard

i hate how u can only post once per minute, my posts get so old...

once again, anyone know how many u can miss usually to get a 30

You can prolly miss around 7-9 and still get a 30 i think..

4-5 wrong is defiantly in th 30s prbly like 31-2

Yeah missing 4-5 math would probably be ~32 depending on the curve

wat bout for the loius armstrong one, did u put conscientiously or something for the orchestra,

i didn't think the questions were necessarily harder, but i felt really pressed for time which i didn't feel when doing practice tests

and yes, i hate the 1 post per min, it's annoying me

and also anyone remeber questiosn from the acupuncture one, and for the average game points one, i guessed on that between 2.8 or 3 which one was it

they played it unconsciously

YES. This test was harder I thought. But I thought someone mentioned earlier that they give a nice curve for April?

and the goals one was 2.8 if i remember correctly

unconsciously.

2.8 for the games

-which question for the acupunture?

the average goals per game came out to 2.81 or something so 2.8 was the answer.

anyone kno how i can study for science, practice tests suck, i get in the 30's on them, and on the real thing its sooo much harder and i get in the lower 20's its pitiful

Yeah, they played it unconsciously.
Does anyone remember what the average goals question was asking? I don't remember what I put.

umm just in general anyone remeber the acupucntiure one, and also can u combine scores from the last test like the sat, i think its stupid that if ONE section messes u up your score dives down

to tell you the truth nmehta, i found that practice tests are actually useful just because you get exposed to more material. the thing that made the real one easier for me than practice ones was that i've done bio (which there was a lot of) while many of the ones i did as practice tests were on physics and astronomy

yeah i got 2.8 I think

nmehta -- what practice test book are you using?

was it who or whom?
