10 wrong is probably around 28 depending on the curve

I got -2 for the slope.

thanks....im so angry, i got a 33 on the math on the one practice test that i took

also since ive only taken one other practice test which seemed much easier, i was wondering if this test was harder than usual?

I got -2 for the slope also..

yeah, i got 35 on practice math, i think i got at least 3 wrong already

=/

so why doesn't the essay count? i heard it counts towards your english sections or something. Or is it just like i got a 30 on the ACt and a 10 on the writing (just an example)

they give you separate score Matt (English and English+Writing). Plus essay does not affact your composite score.

I took a practice math section two days ago, I got a 34 and I got at least 8-10 wrong on this math section. So weakk

Science section was totally lame, if you haven't had previous knownledge to the questions, you couldnt have even gotte a few answers. Totally not fair.

I realize that the consensus on the eukaryote question is chloroplast.

But, I could have sworn the question said, "What organelle do eukaryotes use to produce energy?"

Which would allow for both Chlorplast and Mitochondria as answers, with mitochondria being the better answer.

I think I got like composite of 29 =/

the key part was it was talking about plant cells.
plant cells have chloroplasts and not mitochondria
only animal cells have mitochondria im pretty sure.
yeah, i had to double check myself on that question

there's no way you could have gotten those answers right without remembering from your biology class. you just have to know that the mitochondrion is the site of cell respiration and the chloroplast is the site for photosynthesis. that was kind of unfair.

wat do u think -2 in reading and -3 in science?

i think we should complain about the bubbles question with the 15min-2hours vs. over 2 hourse since the wording was so ambiguous and it we still can't figure out what the answer is

i dont understand why you think that was unfair... they gave you the equation for making sugar. It said like where does the C go... and you just look, it went to the SUGAR molecule. And if you could'nt get cholorplast is where photosynthesis takes place. =/

I got both of those questions right. I just still think its unfair.

i thought all the questions on the science were fair, just very time consuming.

and for the sugar question, even if u somehow didnt know that it was sugar u could have looked at the equation (C6H12O6) which u should be able to rmemebr from bio/chem. I guess it required some outside info but the answer was in the passage.

MNOAAA12: The answer was not in the passage if the word "sugar" occurred only in one answer choice!
We know that the equation was C6H12O6; some of us just forgot (or were never taught in the first place) that the equation is of sugar. There was no indication in the passage that would've connected that equation to sugar; outside knowledge was needed.

Incorrect.
Plant cells have BOTH chloroplasts and mitochodria
Animal cells only have mitochondra
