I am currently trying to figure out my UC calculated GPA.
On my transcript from school it says I have a 4.083
When I calculated it as A= 4 B= 3 etc and + 8 for AP courses I only end up with 3.96
Which gpa should I send?

And also is 4.3 the max GPA one can get as an overall calculated UC GPA?

it really depends on how many courses you take your high school years.

I have a total of 24 semesters my Sophmore + Junior year.
With that said my max possible GPA would be 4.3 right?
[(24*4)+8]/24= my uc gpa if I had straight A’s right?

I think the capped max is either 4.4 or 4.5. It’s limiting the number of extra points for APs or approved honors that “caps” it. Try posting on the UC forum.

If all As, I think you would multiply the number of regular A-Gs x 4, and the number of AP classes by x 5, (up to a max of 8; the rest would be multiplied by 4), add those number and divide by the number of couses. Not sure if it matters whether you divide before or after adding the two numbers…
