4/4 on Trig Math Questions

<p>My Math Algebra two course work ended with the Unit Circle and spent several weeks on SOHCAHTOH. >.< </p>

<p>My current (senior level but i'm a junior) college algebra class is a remedial version of that course. </p>

<p>What do you need to know to be able to do the 4 trig questions on the ACT. </p>

<p>All i know currently is SOHCAHTOA and the Law of Sines. </p>

<p>When i take the ACT i currently score between 25-32 but i never get more than 2-3 of the trig questions right. </p>

<p>I'll see a trig question go ??? guess C and move on. what do i need to learn?</p>

<p>You’re out of luck unless you LEARN trig. I recommend the Khan Academy videos on youtube or on his website. Good luck :smiley: It’ll be useful.</p>

<p>well… its good to know these angles:</p>

<p>sin30 = 1/2
sin45 = sqrt(2)/2
sin60 = sqrt(3)/2</p>

<p>cos30 = sqrt(3)/2
cos45 = sqrt(2)/2
cos60 = 1/2</p>

<p>tan30 = sqrt(3)/3
tan45 = 1
tan60 = sqrt(3)</p>
