Hi, im planning to take math 32a, chem20b, chem20L and a GE. is that too much?

No. Completely doable.

That schedule really isn’t that tough at all…

what if you’re working 20+ hours a week too?

Still doable. It’s really all about time management. I have 19 units, research and volunteering this quarter. I’m fatigued most nights of the week, but I’m still alive.

3 lectures and a lab usually come close to my breaking point. How shall I survive when I have to start research…

And…ah what the hell.

Yeah, 4 classes is definitely doable. I’ve only taken one quarter with less than 4, this quarter 5 upper divisions, president of a club, two jobs and dorm government with significant involvement. Also in the middle of getting a research paper published. The point is, pretty much any amount of classes is doable, but we don’t know you to be able to determine if you are able to handle it. What/how are you doing this fall quarter? Do you feel like you have enough free time that you can add to your load?
