so the site says the scores will be posted between 6 am and 8 am ET. so ne one think they'll be up by 3 am PT?

nope, a single score isn't that important for me, i'll simply check it during photoshop :-D

Here you go for those who don't care to search

"ETS is a private, nonprofit organization devoted to educational measurement and research..."

Yeah... um, ETS IS A NON-PROFIT organization.
[/quote]

Exactly.

FYI. A "non-profit" only means the organization has no stockholders or investors that are looking for a payout and also no one keeping an eye on management pay and practices. Many exec's employed by large non-profits are paid very handsomely, mainly because there are no interested parties to keep their greed in check. If you have a position near the top of the food chain, working at a not-for-profit can be very profitable.

sry i think i was ambiguous. in my post i meant they as in the scores

sigh..im so anxious for my scores!!! waah

Ten bucks says no one gets their scores tomorrow...

hahaha steve_, I swear I was just going to say/type that.

its tomorrow.. 6 hours to go?

to be precise, 5 hrs 30 minutes to go.................

Yup, 6 hours. I'm in CST so I'll be able to check before school. I didn't notice the October glitch when I checked my Lit score, but I don't think I checked on the first day it was suppose to be up (Meanwhile, the early ACT website did totally tank, and the scores were available a good two days after they were supposed to be). I tried checking my Writing at 11:10 CST tonight, but it wasn't up yet. Did everyone have the same essay prompt, or does it depend on location? All I know is that the prompt I practiced with out of an SAT II prep book was "The rights of the individual outweight the rights of the community," and the actual prompt I got was "The needs of the individual are not as important as the needs of a community, group, or nation." I'm sure I did great on MC. My essay has three good examples but came up a little short - I used about 2/3 of the page. I either got an 8 or 10 on the essay. Or possibly a 9 if the judges differed. I'm hoping for 750 or better.

so, ne one on PST stayin up w/ me?

i heard that they were up... in the what are my chances forum, but mine def arent

only 2 hours left.........

butterflies in my stomach..... ;)

lol yea same ravi

What are you guys goin to do for the remainin 2 hrs????

I have no idea....

;'';lgas;oegashgfansddsaw!

Sorry, I just had to.

I am writing my paper for political science class on the influences of Aristotle, Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Locke on the Constitution. HELP!!!! anybody, help; I barely know their general ideas

the Constitution is highly influenced by Locke. The whole social contract idea (kinda forgot wat that was but has something to do with the government must have a contract with the people?) and the idea of individual rights. In fact, our Bill of Rights is highly Lockean.

o and btw, watching the Daily Show helps a LOT

Machiavelli called for a strong central government to help unite the people of Italy which a lack of resulted in the ineffectiveness of the Articles of Confederation (or something like that, bad wording; come on, its 4 am!!!). That's about all I got out of Euro Hist...
