I've finished Direct Hits and for the remaining 4 days, I would like to still learn some new words. Any suggestions on which list/book I should use? I have Hot Words by Barrons and also Rocket Review.

Review the words you don’t know on previous practice tests I guess.

They have a bunch of websites on the internet that display SAT vocabulary words, just start browsing and see if you find anything worth a look.

DH only represents about 10% of the SAT vocab I learned last year… good luck.

i would definitely use missed words from practice tests in the blue book. also [Fusion Academy: 100s of Free SAT Lessons & Quizzes: Reading, Math, Writing, Vocabulary](http://www.fusionacademy.us) has a bunch of categorized vocab words that i found useful for quick study.

weird…my simple link just turned gigantic :)

Going through old SATs like the free online practice test and looking up any words you don’t know including words in the reading passages will help. The 2010 practice test has a difficult dual reading passage about Martin Luther King which would be good to review.

I have copies of the the Oct 09, Jan 10 & May 10 SATs and if you know the words from both DH books you should be in very good shape. If you have access to the Rocket Review list you will pick up a few more words. If you have the time to review 3500 words then look at Barrons. No list will have every word, but you sound well prepared. Good Luck!
