Soo I was super optimistic (5s) about my science scores but it turns out I got a 4 on Bio and Chem, and a 5 on BC Calc. I’m looking to become pre-med, so how do competitive college admissions (acceptance rates below 20%) judge these stats? I’m very stressed about applications and while I do know I might be a little paranoid, I’d like to hear some other opinions than my own freaked-out mind. If I get 750+ on my science subject tests, will this be okay? Thanks!!
4’s are good scores and many schools do not consider AP test scores in their admission decisions. You are fine.
The bigger issue is why are you so stressed about applications, there are many solid pre-med programs in the county, and a lot have acceptance rates over 20%.
To answer your question, a 4 is totally fine as Gumbymom wrote, and it’s good you took AP Chem and AP Calc, which adcoms would prefer to see for stem. They’re interested in how you did in the course, not the AP score.
