4 or 5 (advice)

Im currently transfering from my current school to
Nyit.. most of my credits will transfer, besides my studio classes.
so in a nut shell i have to do all studios over at my new school.

the 4 year bac. of science in arch tech. program has 2 years of studio
the 5 year b.arch program has 5 full years of studio

if i go for the b.arch i'd get that degree in 6 years. ( 5 at nyit, 1 at my current school)

and if i go for the 4 year program, i can finish in 3 yrs for a total of 4 years..

which would you do?
im thinking maybe the 4 yr, to not waste time, and get
my masters somewhere else and get a m.arch in 6 yrs
in stead of a b.arch.. only thing is that i live on long island
and other schools that offer m.archs are expensive. (pratt, columbia) etc.

ne advice or suggestions?

thanks.

ne one?

damn space requirement
lol

I would go for the BS, and then an M.Arch. It would be the same length of time as the B.Arch, and it would give you the opportunity to shop for schools again. Yes getting an M.Arch can be expensive, but the financial aid is generally better for masters students than for bachelors students beyond the 4th year, and if you work hard in your BS program, then you can expand your options if you have a good enough application to qualify for scholarships.
