Your test scores are fine, your GPA and class rank is probably why you are getting bad news so far. Your remaining college list contains some fairly selective schools, so you may have been a little top-heavy. Your best chances are with UCI, UCSB, and UW. Good luck and keep your chin up. Most everything happens for a reason!

You should be golden at UCSB, UCI. and a match at UC Davis.
UCSD is a slight reach because of your GPA, but your SAT scores are well within reason.

I wish you luck!

I am from wa and i know someone who got into uw (instate) with a 3.2, ib diploma but 2200ish sat. so you might have a shot

Don’t worry. If a college wants you they’ll want you for you. You don’t want to go to a college were they want you for your numbers. I’m on the same boat as you. Well kind of. I hate waiting for college, especially rejection.

Where have you been accepted and where have you been rejected?

What is your “UC GPA”?

My D got 4 rejections in a week, then got 2 acceptances in 1 day! Hang in there!

My daughter got two rejections early…felt horrible, thought she wasn’t going to get in anywhere and since got six acceptances and is waiting for four more…expecting two more acceptances, one rejection (Harvard) and one question-mark from Oberlin.

“So far I have an acceptance from a safety school”

If you do not yet love your safety, put some effort into developing a positive emotional relationship with that school. Then if everything else goes wrong you won’t feel as though you have failed, you will be able to feel happy about your future there.

Thanks everyone for the hopeful messages! Well, now it’s five rejections (UCSD). But oh well, everything happens for a reason. mom2collegekids, I have been accepted to Fordham and UCR. I hope next two weeks are full of lucky acceptances for me!
