I'm trying to figure out my schedule for next year. This year, I've taken APUSH with >100%, but it has been a lot of busy work. Next year, I was hoping to take

AP BIO
AP ART HISTORY
AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY
AP LANGUAGE AND COMPOSITION
PRECALCULUS
FRENCH III
(insert elective here?)

Opinions? Is this too much work? Too rigorous/not rigorous enough? I'm very involved with extra curriculars and sports year around. If I were to drop one, would you recommend dropping AP GEOG or AP BIO?

4 AP classes seems pretty good and rigorous. I am currently in AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, AP English Language, Computer Programming 1 and 2, and Spanish 3 and I managed all A’s last semester while doing several extracurriculars and volunteer work. If you want to drop one, I recommend not dropping bio but geography since it looks better to have a well-balanced schedule of math, science, english, and social studies.

That seems like a good schedule. It depends on your school, I guess, and how well you usually do. Human Geography is pretty easy (it’s a freshman class at my school), and if you’re good at writing, so is AP Lang. No idea about Art History.

I always feel like I got gypped because my school doesn’t offer any AP science classes until senior year–you have to take bio, chem, and phys all as regular or honor classes before choosing one to take in your senior year. And even then, they’re all two periods long, and I didn’t have room in my schedule. So take advantage of it!

Alright, I think I’m really considering taking all four then. AP Art History is supposed to be immensely easy, and with AP GEO, that wouldn’t add to be that much. Right?
