4 Year Biochemistry/Molecular Biology Majors

I'm interested in a four year college to either major in biochemistry or molecular biology. I was recently looking at Ithaca but found that they are weak in these fields. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on colleges with strong science programs within a price range of about 30k.

Thanks a lot.

Andrew

Wisconsin Madison.

U Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Um most colleges have good biology/biochem programs...

He asked for biochem and mole bio. Not many colleges have top complete majors in these more specialized areas of biology.

If u r NY resident, Cornel is a great choice and will fit your Budget too

My school, Wesleyan offers a Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major, and my friends in the major are very happy with it. It's significantly more expensive than you want, but is need blind, so depending on your financial situation, you might be able to get enough money from the school to make it resonable, you'll have to look into that.

Can't go wrong with either UW (the Cheese or the Salmon division) ;)

Here is the Salmon one (barrons can point you to the other one):

Department of Biochemistry

Molecular and Cellular Biology Graduate Program

Good luck!

It says "graduate" program there fro some reason, but I know a very smart girl who is getting "molecular and cellular bio" as one of her majors :D

Definitely BB

And for slightly larger organisms
