4 Year Graduation Guarantee

We toured UOP last fall and my family attended yesterday’s campus event where they tout their 4 year guarantee. It was confirmed that my son could enter as undeclared and that if he declared his major by beginning of Soph year then the school would guarantee graduation in 4 years total. The guarantee is that there will be no additional tuition charged if the goal isn’t met (conditions of his good grades and active participation obviously apply.)

Has anyone out there had any experience with this? I’m greatly intrigued as my son probably needs the first year to figure out what he wants to do so it could be a strong selling point to us.

Hello! So I am currently a student at UOP. And yes the four year guarantee is absolutely true and alive! As long as your son declares his major by his sophomore year, does not fail any classes, and enrolls in all the classes his adviser tells him to the four year guarantee will apply to him. However if he does all of the above, then he will graduate in the four years.
