4 years of foreign language or another AP?

I am going to be a junior next year and due to a huge class size the class rank is determined by the smallest differences in GPA. If I take another AP course I could boost by class rank but don't colleges love four years of foreign language? Need Advice Please and thank you for your time.
By colleges I mean top 25

Did you take a foreign language during junior high school? What is the AP course that you would take instead of your fourth year foreign language?

If you have already taken the relevant AP course for your foreign language, I don’t think it matters if you have three or four years of foreign language. If you haven’t, you should simply consider the required years of foreign language at the colleges/universities that you are interested in and see if they require more than three years.

Personally, I don’t believe it makes a huge amount of different, but I would definitely take the AP class because a higher GPA will probably be more beneficial than an additional foreign language class.

I’d recommend taking another year of a foreign language if you enjoy it. I think that colleges (especially the top colleges) generally prefer to see four years of a foreign language. If you’re really not too fond of the language and think that you could get more out of the AP class though, then I’d suggest taking the AP class. Don’t let rank determine your decision though.
