Hello everyone,
I’m in a very tight situation right now; i need to know if Wake Forest will be OK with me dropping a 4th year of science (Forensic) for another A.P. class (Economics). Schedules come out soon, so i need to know ASAP.
Thanks
I was actually in a very similar situation as you; my schedule for this upcoming year wasn’t fitting all of my classes (small private school and I signed up for 4 ap classes). I was torn to either take ap physics or Spanish 4 (4 years of science/ 3 years of lsngauge or vice versa). I visited Wake in July, and I asked an admissions person what I should do. This guy told me to do what I would enjoy doing/ classes I was interested in (that didn’t really help me), but they liked to see 4 years of classes (which made me feel awful because my schedule wasn’t going to allow that to happen). In the end, I talked to my counselor and principle, and we got something figured out.
If you’re aiming for science major, I’d personally take forensic over the ap economics. However, if you’re aiming for a business major, I’d take the ap economics. If you want another ap class, you could possibly take a science ap class? I’d talk to your counselor and see what he/she recommends for you to do. You could also email/ call a Wake Forest admissions counselor to see if they have any insight. Good luck on your decision!
Hey thanks for your reply!,
Fortunately, everything seemed to fall together and I ended up dropping another business class and took AP Econ and forensics. Good luck on your decision as well!
