My independent college counselor told me that it was a "bad idea" to only take three years of science. So far, all science classes have been accelerated for someone my age (Bio-9, Chem-10, AP Phys-11) and I have done badly in them. Like, badly badly. Not a B. Here's the thing: I'm different now. I have an A in my AP Physics class, and hopefully I can keep it until the end of the semester and make up for my previously abysmal grades. (4.5 right now)

But I HATE SCIENCE. And I mean I LOATHE it. I would WAY rather take AP Psychology (I really want to take this!!!) or AP Gov/Econ rather than AP Biology. You only need two years of science at my high school to graduate. Here's my schedule as it is now for next year:

AP Eng Lit
Adv. Journalism (Newspaper)
AP Calc
AP Biology (highest level of science availiable)
AP Art History
Bowling P.E. (Come on. Senior year. Need another P.E. credit to graduate)

I need to take AP Gov/Econ, so I think I'm taking it over the summer. But I wish I could get rid of Calc and Biology to take it over the year + Psych next year.

What should I do? Should I take AP Bio and make up for other bad grades in science? Will colleges not like it if I don't take 4 yrs in high school? I really want to go to a good school, like Duke or USC.
