4 years of Spanish question...

If I took Spanish 1, 2, and 3 in grades 8, 9, and 10, will it count as four years of a language if I took Spanish 4 as a senior, or do the years have to be continuous?

(Sorry I posted this in the wrong area, but I didn't know where I should post it)

looking to attend UF… don’t think that makes a difference though.

I’m pretty sure they’re not that picky. You should be fine. :)

No it doesn’t matter if they are one after another

Instead of relying on what some random people have to say about specific colleges they probably know nothing about, why don’t you email admissions and ask them yourself?

^^ A lot of people on this website will know the answer, and I have to submit my scheduling for senior year by the end of the week; I don’t think UF would contact me back that quickly.

Are there UF admissions officers on this site? Maybe. Are the previous posters UF admissions officers? No.

It doesn’t hurt to try.

You might be able to drop a class in the future, depending on your school’s policies.

On second thought, maybe you do need them in a row. Better hurry, you only have 1 year left! …wait.

Usually, they are concerned with what was the highest level you completed, though you should check the school to be sure.
