<p>Nothing heard here yet either, they stated it may take a week to notify everyone. I haven’t seen or heard of anyone getting a call yet today.</p>
<p>I got a call this evening telling me I’m a finalist! She said there were 45 finalists and they would probably give the scholarship to 14-16 people.</p>
<p>Wow congrats, Sarah! That’s awesome! I guess I am out of the running since I never even got a quarter finalist email 
oh well, It will be exciting to see if any of my friends get the call this week!</p>
<p>I was notified this afternoon that I am a finalist for the Forty Acres Scholarship as well. However, I applied to both Business Honors and Plan II. I heard back from BHP about two weeks ago, but I have yet to hear anything from Plan II. I would think I would have positive results for Plan II as someone who’s up for a full-ride scholarship to the University, but you never know.</p>
<p>Did you receive any prior notification ? Like semi and quarter finalist emails as well?</p>

Still waiting to hear from 40 acres, my S got his quarter finalist notification about 2 weeks ago … They said up till the end of this week for finalist notification. Suspense is killing M and D. Congratulations to both of you!</p>
<p>@Degregon1594, I received notification of my Quarterfinalist status on February 15 via e-mail, that was the only prior notification I had from the University about the Scholarship. Texas Exes called me this afternoon to inform me of my status as a finalist, then followed up with an e-mail.</p>

<p>Just got my rejection letter from Plan II. Well, this is interesting… and somewhat ironic.</p>
<p>^^That’s pretty weird. I wonder how differently the committee for this scholarship views applications versus the Plan II people.</p>

<p>If you didn’t get a quarterfinalist email, then you are for sure not in the running. I think all of the finalists have been notified, because we had to officially accept or decline our finalist status by Wednesday at 5pm. Some people may still become finalists to fill spots of those who declined.</p>

<p>Accepted to Plan II and another honors program, but unlikely to get finalist status. They definitely have independent criteria.</p>
