Son's only prep was 10 Real SATs before the third try. He took about half of the tests in the book. It really works, guys.

Wow! 1600? That is a nice suprise. i'm really encouraged by all the posts made on this thread - hopefully my third time will push me into the 1400's.

my brother went 1330/1360/1470

I went up

1150, 1190, 1220, 1330, 1410.

Between the 1220 and 1330 i had the summer to study, and all i studied was vocabular at the back of the barron's vocabulary manual. I read "Test of Time." And i did every single test in 10 Real SATS, i would have done it again but i was happy with my score.

but not one thing, you really need to study, i mean study. I studied til 12 or 1 in the morning every day for the SATS, thats how i had such a miraculous jump in my scores.

the time between 1330 and 1410 was one month, and in that itme i just stuided math, which resulted in a 80 point gain. Just hammer it out. I suggest sparknotes practice books, and princeton reviews math and word smart series. The best.

1220/1330/1500..not really much prep, just did lots of practice packets. but nevertheless a shock to both me and my parents... was trying to break 1400

1310/1350/1440/1500... practice tests... almost all of the points were in math- once you learn the concepts, it's easy.

haha i went from 1330 (m-720/cr-610) to 1540(m-770/cr-770) :P

4 year old topic… …

nice ct is that from 2nd to 3rd try?

I wonder if he got his 40 points…
