I just got an email saying confirm your enrollment for spring... I'm wondering, though, if the deposit of $400 is refundable, because I want a spot but I'm still waiting on one more school.

Thanks

I asked about this and this is what I got from someone in Undergraduate Admissions

"The enrollment confirmation $400. This secures a place in the class. The fee is non-refundable, though, on a case-by-case basis, we can make refunds before May 1"

I wrote them because I was curious about the housing deposit for my D. I did not want to pay the $400 to confirm enrollment, I only wanted to secure housing for her, but I was willing to give them some sort of deposit. I clicked over to 'confirm housing' and found that it was free. I called to confirm that I had not tricked the program or something - the person I spoke to said, no, I hadn't and there was not a charge to confirm housing. I said, are you sure I can't force some money on you, she said no.

We will confirm enrollment when we are certain she is attending.
