We have 41 days left until M10. 6 weeks. 984 hours. 59,040 minutes.
It may seem like a long time, but trust me. It’s not. I’ve been through two M10’s and the actual day seems exponentially longer than the waiting period. M10 last year and the year before were the longest days of the year (scientifically it was the summer solstice).
The only thing I can say for everybody on CC who is patiently waiting for M10 is to live and breathe a little. Get off of CC and take a walk. Spend some time with your family and friends. Watch a movie. Do some homework. Maybe watch some Netflix. Treat yourself to ice cream. I’m guilty as charged…I spend too much time on this website.
Most importantly, don’t fret over your applications. What’s done is done. Just my two cents, but don’t write “chance me” posts. You’re setting yourself up for a false sense of security or doubt. Have some self-confidence. What some people on CC think about your application might not be what the AO’s reading your application are thinking about.
@AllSmiles2 I agree with @ChoatieMom …this would be the perfect post for the Freak Out thread…and I can’t agree with you more about the Chance threads! You have great insight that will benefit others during this time of angst. Your CC family is definitely cheering you on!!!
Just remember that your dream school may not actually be what you think it is—everyone tried to tell us that last spring, but it took a while for us to realize how right they were!!! Good luck, everyone!!!
@KnightsDude@Andoverguy best of luck you two! And @buuzn03 I realized that too! If only I could go back in time and talk to my younger self… don’t we all? But live in the present, not the past. Or so the saying goes.
