I don’t know if anyone has used Colleges.startclass.com comparison tool, but I used it recently and noticed that USC has a slightly higher student body population than UCLA and Berkeley. It is important to note the majority of the population are graduate students and the UG population is still well below those two universities. However, I am curious if the huge increase in students is mainly due to the online programs? If so, then I don’t see the student population as a big deal. If not, this may tarnish and dilute USC’s brand. What are all of your thoughts?
Alright. Cool. Guess it isn’t a big deal.
@seattletw must be on vacation.
Nope, I saw this, , but my limited research indicates USC has over 300 online degree programs for post graduates. Other schools do the same (e.g. Cal and Stanford). It appears USC is including those additional students, but I cannot confirm. I also don’t know whether USC has distinguished between the two. It should, at least to make it clear how many are distance learners.
P.S. there are thousands:

Okay. I thought it might be inclusive of the online students. It’s not that big of a deal then. They should be included in the student body count.
